Many movies make a big deal out of the hero preparing by putting on their costume/armour/uniform/holster/whatever, that signifies their transformation into the hero. Maybe a group of them walk in slo-mo down the corridor towards the camera, getting ready to become badasses.

Most of us must have one. You know, that special outfit or piece of clothing that when you put it on, you're on your way to getting in the zone or psyched up for some activity.

Maybe it's football padding, or hockey helmet and skates, a special pair of gloves, a white lab coat. Maybe just a lucky jersey that you wear when you're rooting for your team.

For me it used to be a ratty old denim jacket and a ball cap with the employer's logo on it, which I would wear on emergency trips to troubleshoot remote AM radio and TV transmitter sites.

Now my SCA fencing gear is my Super Suit:

When I put it on I become invincible. Well, at least until my opponent kills me, which happens all too often and in very short time. But hey, it's just a game, right?

I know you've got them. Let's see 'em, or at least hear about them. (has to be clothing)

Where's your Super Suit?

Don't have a real one, but here's a few I wish I did ...

BZZZZ - disqualified.
As far as the first two go, it's a question of finding some stretch fabric and a sewing machine.
The third is doable, in light plastic, but would take a bit more work and some research into fabricating articulated plate armour.

Sure, I could make something that LOOKS like one of the suits I showed, but they wouldn't have the superpower attributes.  I'm not interested in cosplay, I want superpowers!  :P

I love clothing, so I have many a costume and non costume that makes me feel powerful- but my number one item I call the "boss hat" a green leather hat that I can pin, embellish and otherwise play with that truly makes me feel like the big badass on campus

Oh, great and mighty Alasdair, Orator Maleficent, He of the Silvered Tongue, guide this humble fangirl past jumping up and down and squeeing upon hearing the greatness of Thy voice.
Oh mighty Mur the Magnificent. I am not worthy.

My super suit is invisible.  It doesn't make me invisible, though...  I think I have some pictures of me wearing it if anyone's interested.

skip over obvious "Emperor's New Clothes" reference and go directly to Invader Zim and the MegaDoomer Stealth Mech.
