All cat stories start with this statement: “My mother, who was the first cat, told me this...”

Crystal is a company that makes (made?) refrigerators. I think they may have gone bankrupt or something because I can't seem to find anything relevant online. However, I know people who have Crystal refrigerators.

Aha, that explains why I didn't get it. Never had that brand here in Australia.

Cutter nailed my association. I looked for an avocado colored one since nothing says vintage fridge like that color.

My brain took the following through a couple steps. The imagery of Clive Barker is sticky.

I liked the first one, subsequent Swamp Thing movie not so much.  Probably sacrilege to someone who read the comics, but I never did so...

Lowky, go read the Moore Swamp Thing books. You would like them. They've done some really great collections of all his work. Book 2 (Love & Death) and Book 4 (Murder of Crows) are chock full of amazing horror stories. I've been borrowing them from the library if you don't feel like dropping around $100 for the Moore books on my recommendation. Orrin Grey and Shawn also thing they're great, if you trust their recommendations more.  ;)
