I am very far behind on my escape artists podcasts right now.  Was wondering if there had been any mention of anything special coming up with Escape pod about to hit Episode 200?  Either way glad to see that EP is still plugging along and I will hopefully be catching up soon on my Escape Artists feeds

I thought I heard mention of a recording of a live performance at Balticon.

When will all the rhetorical questions end?

I was wondering what happened to Ep. 200... Thanks for sharing! I meant to visit the .org domain but kept forgetting.

"Episode 200" is a lot like "Rule Six".  ;)

Mod: added link, because I had to look it up.  I've used this tons of times myself.  I just didn't know it was officially known as six.

Ocicat also used it in our non-existent FAQ back in the Ago.

I told myself that I wouldn't listen to any of the new escape pods until episode 200 came out, but it looks like it may be longer than I hoped.

I feel like if I go ahead and listen to the others, it's like I'll be admitting that episode 200 isn't coming.

:(

Eh, sounds like its just tangled in the legal messyness that can ensue when estate lawyers get involved.

Will come round eventually and will then be awesome, I'm sure. Catch up on the ones you've been holding off on in the meanwhile. :)

I think it's time to accept that we have had episode 200.

It was called 'episode 201' but it was the 200th story (unless we are including flashes, etc., in which case we were already way over).

I'm sure the story will be well worth the wait, if the legal kerfuffle can be sorted, but EP's had more than enough delayed episodes.  Let's all just pretend it's not happening.....there's no delay......

The truth is, we've all already heard episode 200.  No, not the one labeled 201 - the real #200.  It was put up right on time, weeks ago - you just don't remember.  It was simply so awesome, so incredibly mind bogglingly cool, that it cannot be contained by the human brain.  The mind must erase the mere memory of having listened to it in order to preserve our sanity and allow us to continue living in the mundane, ordinary world.  And for our safety and at great expense it has now been removed from the feed.  And from all our computers, ipods, and other devices.

Because Lord knows what would happen if you listened to it twice...

my shattered memories crumble whenever i think about the images & emotions that dark time evokes.

i can only be sure of one thing.  when the shaking stopped and vision returned, pseudopod slouched ominously in the podcatcher.  waiting.

I hear episode 200 was responsible for the destruction of several small European countries.

Indeed. It's up to no good. I'm quite sure were it to be aired, some sort of calamity would befall listeners, perhaps involving Klingons, pots of rubber cement and pasta sauce.

I wanted to say thanks again for EP 200.

Here is a link to help inform everyone of just how big a coup it was to get this piece on EP.

An order dated "Episode 1000" has priority in any era.

Formerly Ignoranus - now too big for my britches, literally and figuratively.
