Evening all:)

I'm off to FantasyCon in Nottingham this week where I'll be dividing my time between Nottingham Castle, the various panels and the rest of the hotel.  If you're going to be there, odds are I'll see you there.  I'll be the guy who sounds like me:)

Argh, FantasyCon in Nottingham? I didn't know about this. was that advertised somewhere? Oh, I'm so annoyed, I keep missing these things. Might have to grab the car and drive from York. Is it on for several days?

I spent a wet couple of days in Nottingham once.  I expected Sherwood Forest to be right there.

This was not long after a drunk Glaswegian had asked me "do you want to die tonight?"  It took me a while to realize that, with his accent, he was asking if I wanted a date tonight.

Things got weird after that.

Al,  I wouldn't have been able to pick you out of a police lineup.  The only pic of you I know is your avatar.  As soon as you opened your mouth, I had no doubt.  Of course, the first thing you said was a Dune reference.  I shouldn't have expected anything else.

I spotted His Malignancy right away.  I couldn't hear Him, though.  Alas!  I must have offended Him.
