Hi guys

i have to admit, I have negleted escape pod recently as my ipod is full =[

BUT.....

A while back (like a year) there was an episode with a feature about a japanese short film using new film techniques - filmed in real time then edited to give the appearance of 3D stills.

I'm now trying to find the website/source of these videos for a film studies project!

Anyone able to help?

featured rather freaky white faced "bad guys" who could travel in time...

cheers in advance!

Dave

I don't recall the episode, but...
Are you talking about something like the Matrix variety of Bullet Time?
ie. Where the action appears to be frozen (or nearly so), and the camera POV appears to rotate around the scene.

Are these the guys? - http://www.cs.cmu.edu/afs/cs/project/VirtualizedR/www/VirtualizedR.html
I found that link here: http://www.ri.cmu.edu/events/sb35/tksuperbowl.html
The main guy seems to be Takeo Kanade.
