Help Wanted

Ok, first off, let's be nice and keep everything positive (yet realistic) in this thread.

As a quick introduction, I have owned many businesses.  Many of them have failed.  The old adage, "it's not how many times you fall down, it's how many times you get up," well it's true.  I'm currently expanding.  I have a well of experience to draw from.  I know what can be accomplished if you want it badly enough.  I've had a firearms store, a recording studio, a flea market stand and other enterprises.  I currently have a trucking business, am helping two companies match their needs and will be starting a business with my wife and our 7 and 5 year-old daughters.

I don't say that to brag, merely to show my experience.  At times I can be gruff.  Call me on it.

If there is anyone out there that is looking for work or to start a business of their own, I offer my hard earned wisdom in such things for a very small price:  Want To.  If you have the want to, I can help.  I cannot provide desire and you need to do some hard work to be successful.

I know we have a community here with a vast array of experiences.  Let's share that.  Instead of looking at this as a horrible economy, let's look for opportunities.

Ask your questions here.  If I can't help, maybe someone else here can or we can point you in the right direction.

I'll start it off:

Escape Artists, Inc is looking for graphic designers and artists.  From what I understand, the pay would be from royalties.

I, personally, am looking to get a few web pages designed. 

Zorag, Inc. is looking for some professional drivers.

Zorag/Zathras has once again deleted himself.  I should probably just delete this thread, but I'm going to leave it.  Obviously he won't be helping anyone to start their own business. but I don't think a help wanted thread is a bad idea.  So if you have a job you need filled, feel free to list it here.

Actually, I can help with business or job hunting advice.  I deleted my old account because I won't be as active in the forums and there was a lot of confrontation tied up in it.

Ok, let's drop this from this thread, please.  I'll wrap it up, if it needs further discussion, let's have a new thread.

When I first came to the forums, a heated battle occurred while I was still a total newbie.  Russell stepped in, and I overreacted.  I left, but came back and realized my mistake.  My Zorag persona was getting to be a little bit too edgy here.  No matter what I might have done on a temporary basis, I would slip back. 

I won't be taking part in some of the threads I was heavily into before.  I am changing a lot about my life and it will probably be reflected here.

Now, to bring this back on topic:

I have a limited business network, but it spans most of the country.  If you are looking to change careers and need some pointers, let me know.
