makes me happy.

Now, I had no problem with Vista, but in comparison, I now have a problem with Vista.

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

does it work with itunes, because i have heard it doesn't play nice?  Their own upgrade advisor says you should uninstall it before you upgrade to win 7 from Vista.

When I was upgrading it told me that it wouldn't be nice to iTunes...
but I did nothing about it, and iTunes is working juuuuust fine.

took a bit of persuasion to connect to the internet tho... dunno why.
however it did NOT take ANY persuasion to subsequently connect to xbox live, which is a pain in the ass to reconfigure.  It didn't require ANY reconfiguration... which perplexed me but in a good way.

Frak iTunes.  iTunes is for those Mac weenies.

Or those of us who are to lazy to find something that will still work well with our iPod. Since some of have both a few generations of ipods now migrating can be a pain.  Hell I used iTunes before I had an iPod.

i haez no problems with iTunes, I don't get what people have wrong with it, ESPECIALLY after having used Zune software, that piece of SHIT program should burn in hell along with its programmers.

i'm kinda glad for zune software for all the wrong reasons.  i got one for free after it had locked up and it worked fine once the firmware was reset.

i never use packaged software with these things anyway, just drag & drop files.  no need for any of the bloated, drm ridden software they want you to install.  it still chokes me that apple started packaging itunes with quicktime.  you want 1meg of codecs?  here, install 50megs of drm & advertising you don't want and will never use.

thank god for quicktime lite.

i have... maybe 5 songs that are DRM'd
the rest? yeah I'm not gonna say anything.
:D
anyways any DRM song you can "record what you hear" into a high quality audacity file and export as w/e you want, bye bye DRM.

I won't upgrade before December, if then.  my laptop is Vista and should run it.  My desktop was XP.  I don't know if it will even turn on.  I haven't used it since early 2008, mostly because i moved and had to leave it behind, then I moved to China and didn't want to have it sent for cost and weight reasons.
I escape PRC on Dec. 17th, so I won't buy it til then. I don't want bootleg/chinese only version of Windows, which is all you can get in PRC.
