Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce the latest addition to the Escape Artists team.  Taking over as chief editor of Escape Pod will be none other than...  Stephen Eley.  Weird choice, I know.

Welcome back, Steve!

I hope he's as good as the last editor, or at least as good as that Steve Eley guy

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

I don't know, does this "Steve" have enough relevant experience?

So, will this be the Good Steve or the Evil Steve?  Is there a goatee involved?

"goatees" is just a letter or two away from a much more amusing/horrifying word..

I know, but I'm not sure that qualifies as 'better'...

Coming in late, I know...  This thread suddenly has me wondering if I could grow an evil goatee for some sort of charity goal.  It would have to be something ambitious, because I hate goatees.  I've done a full beard before but I think sculpted dainty fractional beards are ludicrous.

So make it worth my while and worth sacrificing my dignity for.

Any ideas?

$5000 in one month and you'll put a pic of you with a goatee in the feed once you grow it.

... or is $5000 easy?

But to what?  That's the question.  I won't do it to raise more money for Escape Artists.  That's too close to self-serving.  (This is only about looking evil, as I understand it.)

It's a shame you've just missed Movember or whatever it was...

Are there any sci-fi/fantasy related good causes out there atm? Is 'Match it for Pratchett' still going?

I'll throw in my 2 cents and mention any no-kill shelter of your choice.

Dude, that is a harsh critique of the goatee.  You realize Satan AND Nick Cave could potentially read this, right?
