I have no idea.  Is THIS the place to put this?  Last time I tried posting something here, I got lambasted for "spamming".  Anyway:  My novella, LORD DICKENS'S DECLARATION is up and running -- episode 2 (of 3) just posted this morning -- at the StarShipSofa.com.  You can hear it for free.  IF you want a pdf download of the book and the illustrations for it by Skeet Scienski, it'll cost you 2 pounds 99 (about $5 U.S.).  The money all goes to Spider and Jeanne Robinson.  So, apart from my ego getting stroked about the story or the reading, I'd like people to buy the thing and make sure Spider and Jeanne get a little bit from it.

That's it.

I think Russell was joking and came across harsher than intended.. but that's neither here nor there.. I believe this is a fine board for this. This is a great idea, thanks for doing this.

HEY!  GET OUT OF HERE WITH THAT SPAM! :P

this is actually the perfect board to put that :)  I'll have to check it out sometime.

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

I thought the first third of the story was excellent!  Well worth the wait.  Nice job on the reading as well.  I see that I just caught the new Starship Sofa show in I-tunes so I'm looking forward to picking up part two.

Just so we know...  Episode 3 went up yesterday and the entire novella, LORD DICKENS'S DECLARATION, is now complete.  And, of course, you may also buy a copy as an illustrated .pdf download for a minimum contribution of about 5 US dollars, 2 pounds 99 in the UK, to Spider and Jeanne Robinson.

Also...in case anyone cares, it's BEST OF Season around the StarShipSofa hearth.  I'm nominated in 3 categories: Best Short/Flash Fiction (THEN, JUST A DREAM), Best Narrator and Best Fact Article (for my Progress/Process Reports on LORD DICKENS...).  Go to the site below and vote your conscience:

Just a reminder: December 31 is the last day you can order the illustrated .pdf download of LORD DICKENS'S DECLARATION from the StarShipSofa and have the money -- about 5 US bucks -- go to Spider and Jeanne Robinson.  You can hear me read the novella for free, but to make your contribution you've only got another day and a half.

Go here:  http://www.starshipsofa.com/products-page/books/

To listen, go here:  http://www.starshipsofa.com/  The story begins on Aural Delight #111.

So there.  My last word on it.
