So, I expect I'll be banned pretty quick with this.

What's happened to Norm as co-host? Is he coming back or what?

Actually, I was wondering that myself.  I don't know if since Steve came back as managing editor after Jeremiah left, he decided he might as well continue as permanent host again or what.  We'll see I guess.

Come with me and Journey Into... another fun podcast

Dunno either, but as long as it's more Eley and less Sherman, I'm not complaining.

I thought Norm's later EP intros and outros were pretty good.  It seemed like, while Norm was trying to be relatively restrained and publicly acceptable on Escape Pod, his intros on his own podcast got even weirder to compensate.  That was my explanation for the Drabblecast's whole "Mashup of Dune and The Lorax, featuring Bono" thing, anyway.

The drabblecast EMBRACES weird. That's why he opens the show with "strange stories by strange people for strange listeners such as yourself" or something very close to it.

And don't knock the Mongolian death worm. It was EPIC! :p

Can someone give me a link to that? Or at lease an episode number?
Thanks in advance.

http://gardenstreet.org/drabblecastarchive/Bsides/index.php .. the first one on there is the one you want.. episode 9. it was originally done as a series of 10 to 15 minute segments tacked on at the beginning of regular drabblecast episodes, and I guess they decided to put them all together in one file. :)

Also if you're so inclined download the episode below that too, 'The Elves Hate You.'

It is genius.

GENIUS, I say.

Hey, just droppin in to say that there's no bad blood between The Eley and the Sherminator.  As far as I know I'm still on board (sorry steph!) Steve's enjoying being at the helm again, and that's definitely a glorious thing for us all.

Dude, Norm's 'restrained' intro/outro bits on EP were the reason I went to listen to the Drabblecast in the first place.

Hey, just to say it again: I liked Norm on EP, and I like him on the Drabblecast.

I'm really enjoying having Steve back, but he just had a new baby - I'm sure that soon enough he'll need to be catching on some sleep. And, when that happens, I hope Norm will be the first person EP calls :)
