I  know I can't be the only gaming geek here.. ;)

I finally got Diablo II (with the expansion Lord of Destruction) to run on my Windows 7 computer and I'm looking for people to game with, either via battle.net or the direct IP connection thingy. Interested parties either post here or PM me (if you choose to post here and more than one person is interested, perhaps we can organize a small group. That'd be rad).

Also, I was told by the guy at the games store that Diablo III will be coming out this November. Whee!

Oh, man, I wasted *so* much time on D2 in college.  I don't think it will work well on my current setup, though, otherwise I'd totally be up for installing it again and getting some nostalgia.

I favored Sorceress and Barbarian.  I remember one time when my way over-leveled character reached a boss (that dude in the transdimensional area who has the book) and I punched Leap Attack, and the game froze for a bit while it calculated the new arrivals of all the minions and such, and in the meantime the boss' laugh is just looping, "Mwhahahahaha Mwhahahahaha  Mwahahahahaha" and then "Ugh" "Splorch."  And abruptly I had won the fight, as the screen updated to everything dead and my Barbie standing a bit confusedly in the middle of it all.

That was funny.
