Exploring the ruins of a Ghost Town, in a remote part of Arizona, Jack Schitt was startled to find a Door, standing by itself, with some ancient bricks still attached to the right and left of the door frame...

(Add a section, and let's see where this will go!)

;D(C'mon! All it takes is adding a sentence or two!)

Jack, spellbound, came closer, noticing ancient script carved into the door...it looked like cuniform...

He ran his fingers across the carving, feeling the smooth dents and sharp points, and marvelled at how these ancient-looking marks had withstood the weathering of ages.
Beneath his light touch, the rock seemed almost alive.

He jumped back as a slight hum began at his touch....

...and turned to his assistant, the tall and willowy Venus Kitt and said, "Will you knock off that humming?! I'm trying to concentrate here!"

Trying to take his eyes off Venus (which was no easy task!), Jack was helped by a grating rasp from behind.
They both quickly discovered the door opening on its own!

(Old Art piece by Wally Wood!)

Men became visible on the other side, and were staring at them, however, Schitt was having a hard time making up his mind; whether to stay with Venus- or to barge into the unknown by himself...

"Don't even THINK about it, Babe! We're on vacation- and that door leads to....(drum roll) NoWhere!", Venus purred with a slinky voice that set my loins afire!

..Jack Schitt himself was pulled forward through the doorway as, with an unearthly shriek, a wind suddenly arose that dragged him bodily forward. He barely had time to register surprise before he shot past the men in front of him into..

...a room so dark it may not have been there at all.  He wanted to speak, but couldn't.  He felt his way around the room, grasping at the fissures in the rock wall.
