Hey all - just kind of a place-holder. Mur and I are both going to be at WFC (as well as a bunch of other cool EA authors and readers). We are definitely going to do some kind of listener get-together. As soon as we get the schedule back from WFC committee, we'll post a time and place here and on twitter accounts :)

Hope to see anyone who can make it there!

No, no booth. We're too stealth (read: poor) for that kind of thing :)

But we have a a large amount of plainsclothes operatives!

Sometimes, I really wish this country wasn't so large, and I could walk to San Diego from Long Island.

(Feel free to substitute 'country' with 'world' or 'universe' and San Diego with any place conceivable  ;D )

It would be nice to have access to the Doors, I do agree  ;)

Oh yes, I'd love some doors.  (Not the side effects, though.) But even without them, I'm managing to get to WFC! Is the meetup time set yet?

I am a silly, silly girl.

I thought it was last weekend.

A door to San Diego would make life more entertaining!

I just got off the phone with Mur. We don't have a location nailed down yet, but we're planning something for Saturday morning around 9:00am-ish (which is about an hour before your regularly scheduled programming will start), so everyone should be able to make it. We're gonna meet up at a coffee bar-type place at the hotel, so we'll all have the chance to be suitably caffeinated, and totally casual :)

Really looking forward to it!

Alright, for those playing at the con, we're meeting up at the Sunshine Deli for coffee at 9am!

I'll unsticky this soon, but just wanted to say this was a lot of fun, and the coffee was good too :) Blue Lu, if you're reading this, it was awesome to see you there! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your con, and thanks for stopping by :)

Also in attendance were: Mur Lafferty, MK Hobson, Tina Connolly, Caroline Yoachim, Samantha Henderson, K. Tempest Bradford, Bart Patton, Kelly Lagor, and me :) Hopefully, I'm not forgetting anyone...(Why the HELL didn't I take pictures? Aside from it was early, I mean.)

Hi!  Just saw this.  Lovely to meet you.  Yes, I had an amazing Con.  Very excited that it will be in my home city of Toronto next year.  (Although the one I REALLY want to get to is the one after that to see China Mieville--probably not an option, sadly.)

Are there any cons on the east coast? Say somewhere between Boston and DC? I'd love to go to one of the cons on the west coast, but for the cost of air fare and hotel, I could buy a new-to-me car.

I'm not evil. I'm corporate.
