Mur won the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer. Well done!

Yeah, it's kind of a weird category.  Since a lot of her work has been of the self-pub variety, those don't count against you.

I believe Lev Grossman won this category when the Magicians came out (2010)...several years after his novels Warp (1997) and Codex (2004) were published.

Anyway, I'm very happy Mur :) I hope this means we get a lot more books from her!
