No worries.  I probably wouldn't have said anything if I hadn't already been making another comment, and if I didn't have a co-worker who consistently says "mute" instead of "moot".  I thought even as I was typing it that I might be an annoying pedant, but decided that if there was anyone here who didn't know that about me yet then they'd have to learn it sometime.

I think it is in the nature of people who post on this forum to be annoying pedants. I sometimes need to walk away from the computer for a few minutes because I know that not everyone wants to be corrected and it can be hard to control the urges. In other circles I frequent on the internet I usually ask permission before getting all pedantic.

I'm glad everyone liked my story. It's one thing to sell it, it's another to get so much great feedback!

I write, therefore, I'm a pain in the ass.

Are there any other stories you have (or plan to have) featuring the excellent Elise?

This was good stuff. Rogues are awesome. Would listen again.

It paired nicely with a viewing of the rogues in Guardians of the Galaxy. That movie totally scratched my Firefly itch, and gives me faith that the Disney machine will produce some fine Star Wars sequels. With this they've now given us two this year (with Thor 2) that are better than the best part of the prequels.

All cat stories start with this statement: “My mother, who was the first cat, told me this...”

Actually, she's the subject of seven or eight short stories, which all lead into a novel I wrote this past year.

Repo is the first (and only, so far) story to sell.

This was certainly enjoyable and entertaining, although not original enough to linger in my mind too long. It doesn't surprise me too much that there is already a series of stories with this character - could see her become a great popcorny TV show...

When you publish another one, drop by the forums and link to it.  I'd love to read it.

Just finished this story.
Liked Elise.
Agreed that we need more stories with her.
Happy to see there are more stories with her.
Wondering where those stories are.....

Any news on this front?
Really? Any?
