I got 8 out of 10, but I'm not sure how indicative it is of useful knowledge - so I know an electro, proton and neutron make an atom...

And I'm confused by question 8:
What is the major use of a rotary kiln in making cement?
The correct answer is shown as:
It burns off carbon dioxide and fuses the raw materials.

How does one burn off Carbon Dioxide, considering it is incombustable?

That was one of the problems I had with that test. 

I think it burns carbon compounds and releases CO2.  This burning creates other compounds.  That's the fusing raw materials part of the answer.
