Seriously, where did the flash fiction go? We know there is material because of the contest, so why isn't any of it being posted?

I'm glad someone else posted this because I have been thinking the very same thing.  I'm sure some of the contest winners are being held fot the new Fantasy podcast, but what about Mission to Dover (clearly) sci-fi.  Or maybe Steve wants to wait so that the stories aren't as fresh in our heads.

Contest winners aside, though, we want more Flash fiction period.  It's been a long while.

(Also, someone once said it would make for great marketing material for the podcast.)

Facehuggers don't have heads!

Come with me and Journey Into... another fun podcast

Forgive me, I know I've plugged this podcast before in the forum but this seems like an appropriate place- you should give the Drabblecast a download if your into flash fiction- scifi/fantasy/horror/comedy 2K words and under.   www.drabblecast.org

This thread is worth resurrecting.  I still check my i-tunes daily thinking "this will be the day Steve puts up a new flash story" only to find nothing.  The Drabblecast is a great site, but it has a different feel to it that just does not always scratch that EP Flash itch. I think I remember Steve mentioning something about flash stories in a recent intro, but cannot clearly remember what he said.  I may have dreamed that he mentioned it.

I've been wondering about the flash fiction too. Is it the same amount of work for a lot less? Is it getting Podcastle up and running (though remembering the contest, some of those flash pieces probably work better under a fantasy flag than an SF one)?

I Twitter. I also occasionally blog on the Escape Pod blog, which if you're here you shouldn't have much trouble finding.

FlashFlashFlash! We want it!

The bigger stories are great, but I also love the small ones, you can NEVER have too many MiniPods (love that name, too) !

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Flash us, please!

I'll flash you, but I think that would probably be more appropriate for PP.

I keep trying to post what me flashing would be like, but it keeps getting shunted to PC.

You can just keep your pp off PP, thank you very much.  It's scary enough as it is!
