Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee billing processes, cash handling activities, and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This contract position requires a meticulous individual with a strong background in accounting and financial operations. The role is based near York, Maine and offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of accounts receivable functions.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage all accounts receivable processes to maintain accurate and timely invoicing.
• Monitor cash activities and ensure proper handling of transactions.
• Oversee billing operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of financial transactions and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency in financial operations.
• Prepare and present accounts receivable reports for management review.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations in all processes.
• Implement and monitor controls to safeguard company assets.
• Address and resolve customer billing inquiries in a thorough and careful manner.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle cash activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams and addressing inquiries.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
