Seeking a BE/BC academic addiction medicine physician to join growing addiction medicine division.

The addiction medicine division is an interdisciplinary, medical specialty program within a university healthcare setting. Our division provides both inpatient and outpatient specialty care for individuals struggling with substance use disorders through a variety of programs including: a hospital consultation service, inpatient detoxification/stabilization and residential programs, emergency department and hospital bridge programs, community paramedicine and field buprenorphine initiation, jail transition care, outpatient group and specialty medical visits, a low barrier walk-in clinic, a wrap-around perinatal SUD program, dual diagnosis psychiatric and addiction medical care, integrated addiction and infectious disease care including HIV and hepatitis C treatment, and other innovative community work. We run several clinical innovation, education, and research programs.

The successful candidate should have a strong desire to shape the delivery of substance use disorder care and be versed in urban underserved care and harm reduction. This physician would report to the division head of addiction medicine and would have an academic appointment at the Medical School of Rowan University.

• Salary range: $117-165/hour. The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position. A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
