*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and enterprising attorneys who wants to build a long-term private practice while working closely with experienced counsel. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on training in litigation, client development, practice management, and professional judgment—while also earning responsibility and autonomy as skills mature.

You will work directly with experienced counsel on active matters and gradually transition from supporting roles to first-chair responsibilities, with structured mentoring and opportunities to develop a personal book of business.

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and legal analysis.
* Draft legal documents including pleadings, contracts, briefs, and motions with precision and clarity.
* Manage a diverse caseload across multiple practice areas such as criminal defense, business law, employment law, and other litigation matters.
* Assist in negotiations with clients and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes.
* Prepare for and participate in court proceedings, hearings, and client meetings.
* Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal and administrative procedures.
* Collaborate effectively within the law office team to support ongoing cases and projects.
* Stay updated on current laws and regulations relevant to practice areas through continuous research.

*Requirements*

* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
* Admission to the state bar in good standing.
* Proficiency with legal research tools.
* Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
* Strong negotiation skills for client representation and settlement discussions.
* Prior legal administrative experience is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 60.0 per week
