Position Type: Hybrid / Full-time 

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000

The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Audit Manager to join our Audit and Assurance Team. In this role, you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing financial statement engagements for a diverse client base. Our industry exposure is broad and includes construction, real estate, employee benefit plans, non-profits, and closely held businesses .

 

Position Responsibilities

• Engagement Leadership: Strategically plan, manage, and execute financial statement engagements from start to finish.
• Client Understanding: Obtain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives, utilizing that knowledge to perform and direct all engagement procedures.
• Collaboration: Effectively work both independently and collaboratively within engagement teams, maintaining open communication with all members.
• Client Relationship: Maintain and develop strong client relationships by consistently providing exceptional client service .
• Travel: Must be available to travel to client sites within the Atlanta Metro area as needed.

 

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Licensure: Licensed CPA is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting is strongly preferred .
• Technical Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of accounting and auditing literature.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, organization, and time management skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Software (Preferred): Proficiency with Thomson Reuters Engagement Manager or CaseWare audit software is a plus.
• Attitude: Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
