• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for clients and internal accounts
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Prepare and file tax documents, including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax returns
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Communicate with clients regarding financial matters in both English and Spanish
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Collaborate with CPAs and other financial professionals as needed

What you'll bring to the team...

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to develop and maintain effective client and employee relationships.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate Windows-based software applications
• Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and detail-oriented abilities to meet established work output timelines
• Minimum of 6 hours of college-level accounting coursework or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• No previous work experience necessary
• Oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

It would be even better if you also had...

• Bi-lingual skills
• Certified in QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Creative Solutions Accounting, QuickBooks Pro, Peachtree, Great Plains, etc.
