Location: San Francisco, CA Pay: $19.18 per hour plus tips Employment type: Full-time Role Overview As the Busser of Chotto Matte, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience. You will work closely with the FOH team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dining area. Your primary responsibilities will include setting and resetting tables, assisting servers with clearing and cleaning tables, and ensuring the dining area is always presentable. Key Responsibilities Prepare tables for service and assist servers in clearing tables, quickly and efficiently. Maintain a demeanor of professionalism and excellence in service delivery. Assist with the setup and breakdown of special events and private dining experiences. Collaborate closely with other departments to optimize operational efficiency. Ensure all dining areas are stocked with necessary supplies. Champion health, sanitation, and food safety protocols at all times. Proactively identify and address potential hazards. Maintain impeccable personal hygiene, adhere to uniform standards, and exemplify conduct expectations. Embrace ongoing learning and development opportunities to enhance skills and contribute to departmental goals. Physical Demands Ability to move with agility, stand for extended periods, and bend as necessary. Occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 1 year as a busser or in a similar role. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A naturally friendly and positive demeanor coupled with solid communication skills. Self‑motivated with a dedication to personal and professional growth.
