Overview The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) – Ped – Hematology/Oncology is seeking a Clinical Research Quality Coordinator to ensure quality and regulatory compliance of clinical research activities. The incumbent supports monitoring and auditing of quality assurance processes and guides research teams to adhere to institutional, sponsor, and federal requirements. Responsibilities Provide remote clinical monitoring assistance to study sites. Review safety reporting (adverse events, serious adverse events) and assist with reporting via eDES and Medwatch. Monitor new screenings and potential participants. Offer ongoing protocol training and support to clinical sites. Assess central evaluations and summarize protocol requirements. Collect and log external IND safety reports and coordinate with pharmacy for drug compliance. Maintain a safety log and manage protocol and consent document changes with appropriate acknowledgements. Travel to sites 1–2 times per month for 1–2 days per visit or 1 week per month. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field (work experience may substitute for education). Three (3) years of related experience in clinical research quality. Salary & Benefits Annual Salary Range: $50,050 – $81,330 Remote/Hybrid Eligible – Day/1st Shift – Regular – Full-time – Mid-Senior Level – Clinical Research.
