Are you looking for your new dental home at a remarkable PRIVATE practice?

Arbor Dental is adding another outstanding team member to our incredible dental assisting team. We love to have fun while taking great care of our patients. We have three skilled, kind and humorous general dentists that perform most procedures in our office, five fantastic hygienists with a talented and joyful admin team. Our assisting team includes highly skilled EDDA's that take care of one another, treat each other with respect and have great laughs!

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and comfortable environment
• Prepare treatment rooms for various procedures; select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Complete assisting duties with emphasis on expanded skills
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Maintain accurate patient records

Skills

• Proven experience as an expanded duties dental assistant (or train the right candidate)
  • cementing permanent crowns, placing bulid-ups, making temps, packing cord, placing posterior and anterior composite fillings, digital scanning, etc
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
• Good computer skills - Dentrix and Dexis
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable

Schedule

• Monday 7 am - 4 pm
• Tuesday 9 am - 6 pm
• Wednesday 7 am - 4 pm
• Thursday 7 am - 3 pm
• Friday 7 am - 1 pm
• ********WE ARE HIRING FOR A 3-DAY, 4-DAY & 5-DAY POSITION. THE SCHEDULE WILL BE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING AND WILL BE DETERMINED AFTER VISITING WITH ABOUT YOUR DESIRE DURING THE INTERVIEW: 
• MONDAY, TUESDAY & FRIDAY
• TUESDAY - FRIDAY
• MONDAY-FRIDAY
