Create spaces that make people feel wonderful. Our Designs Celebrate Life Residential Interior Design firm and Kitchen Studio seeks Designer or Junior Designer . Great opportunity to learn all aspects of interior design business while working with Principal and Lead designers. Looking for a motivated, confident, energetic self-starter. Good communication skills are essential. Business attire is required. Position requires working with clients, vendors and construction professionals. Must be able to multi-task. References and vehicle required. To assist Principal Designer in every aspect of projects. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs Creative talent, imagination and eye for design Education Minimum: Bachelors or Associate in Interior Design Responsible for documenting finished drawings and specifications, Floor plans, elevations and details. Plumbing, lighting, appliance, and finish specifications. Preparing appropriate binders. Selection and design of finishes, furnishing, art and more Job progress tracking: Awareness of all project phases in house. Help coordinate job flow and upcoming tasks needed. Vendor interaction: Coordinating quotes, purchases, samples, strike-offs and deliveries. Client interaction: Coordination of meeting times and locations. Assist in meeting preparation and agendas. Confirm meeting times with clients. Product management: The execution of product quotes and information, purchase orders, merchandise tracking, order confirmations and accuracy, deliveries and product invoicing. General office organization: Coordination of product samples and returns. Organization of client binders and boxes. Library organization and updating. New product research. Stocking and ordering office supplies. Mail organization and distribution. Organization of “ideas” binders. Some out of office errands.
