Digital Marketing Associate - Role Overview & Growth Plan
This role is designed to support the dealership’s digital visibility , increase lead volume , strengthen inventory presentation , and improve overall online consistency . The Digital Marketing Associate will be r esponsible for daily execution across 3 rd party classified sites, website listings, social media, and analytics . This position supports Sales, Service, and Parts and plays a critical role in driving organic growth in a lean-budget environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Key Skills Required
Technical Skills: Vehicle listing creation, SEO fundamentals, analytics (GA4, Meta, CRM), strong writing ability, basic graphic design, familiarity with WordPress/Shopify, strong organizational discipline.
Soft Skills: Bias toward execution, clear communication, adaptability, curiosity, accountability, and the ability to support multiple departments simultaneously.

This position directly affects lead volume, online inventory performance, visit-to-lead conversions, digital consistency, brand perception, and operational efficiency. The work produced will be visible, measurable, and immediately impactful to the dealership’s revenue and rider engagement.
Success Plan: Year 1
0–30 Days: Learn operations, tools, workflows, and dealership expectations. Outcome: can independently create vehicle listings and contribute to weekly check-ins.
30–90 Days: Take ownership of vehicle listings, social posting, and updates. Outcome: increased lead flow, consistent online presence, minimal supervision required.
3–6 Months: Improve listing quality, identify efficiencies, build processes, and increase visibility. Outcome: measurable improvement in leads and inventory presentation.
6–12 Months: Become a strategic contributor, run small experiments, and help guide merchandising and promotional decisions. Outcome: Digital listings become a top-performing lead source.
Career Path
Year 3:
– Digital Marketing Specialist (execution, optimization, analytics, content quality), or
– Digital Marketing Manager (planning, multi-department coordination, vendor communication)
Year 5:
– Digital Marketing Director (standardize digital operations, oversee major initiatives, provide high-level insights)
