In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing an organization's information security to protect digital assets and ensure regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Developing and implementing the information security strategy and framework. Managing security risks and ensuring compliance with standards like NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA. Overseeing security operations, incident response, and managing security audits and investigations. Leading and mentoring the security team. Communicating the security posture and risks to executive leadership and the board. Promoting a security-aware culture through training and education. Managing security technologies, investments, and the security budget. Managing vendor security practices. Overseeing disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's preferred. Extensive experience (7+ years preferred) in information security or IT risk management. 5+ years in executive leadership, ideally as a Security Lead. Proven experience in developing security programs and managing teams. Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and security tools (SIEM, firewalls, etc.). Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly valued. Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical and strategic thinking. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Proven leadership and team mentorship abilities. Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and threats. Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in critical situations. Strong problem-solving skills.
