Cleans and maintains all areas of the Foodservice Department according to safety, sanitation and infection control standards. Performs warewashing duties per safety guidelines. Can include but is not limited to: dishmachine and three compartment pot sink. Cleans and maintains carts and kitchen equipment, using proper techniques and cleaning solutions. Complies with internal policies and procedures, as well as, regulatory requirements/standards regarding kitchen safety and sanitation. May transport carts, deliver meal trays, or pick up meal trays from assigned areas. Regularly collects and disposes of all food related and recyclable waste/trash. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. No degree or any other education earned required. No experience required. Physical requirements include bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, lifting or carrying non-patient items up to 75 lbs, pushing or pulling non-patient items up to 75 lbs, reaching, repetitive hand/arm movement, squatting, standing, walking, and exposure to various environmental conditions and hazards as detailed in the job listing. Shift is days.
