Job Title: Estimator — Division 8 & 10 (Doors, Frames, Hardware, and Specialties)
Location: Northvale, NJ or Remote
Our client, a well-established commercial openings contractor, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This role plays a key part in supporting projects across Division 8 (Doors, Frames & Hardware) and Division 10 (Specialties) .
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate material takeoffs, pricing, and bid proposals for DFH and Division 10 projects
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to determine scope of work
Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain pricing and technical details
Partner with project management and sales teams to ensure bids meet client requirements
Maintain organized estimating records, quotes, and bid documentation
Minimum 3 years of experience estimating commercial Division 8 or 10 projects
SFH (Software for Hardware) experience highly preferred
Strong understanding of architectural drawings and hardware schedules
Proficiency with estimating and construction software tools
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Competitive base salary (DOE)
