Electrical Technician (Day Shift)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: Depending on Experience (DOE)

Electrical Technician – Day Shift

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician in Tulsa, OK to perform maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems by applying expert electrical principles. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, a commitment to safety, and the initiative to solve complex issues in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Repair and replace defective parts in controllers, switchboards, switches, conductors, and other electrical fixtures.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical components on machinery and equipment, including transformers, generators, exciters, hydraulic and pneumatic devices.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of field electrical systems, devices, equipment, and components.

• Test solid-state circuitry to identify defective parts in digital and analog systems, including cell prox circuits for frequency and 4–20 milliamp control circuits.

• Install enhancements and major upgrades to electrical subsystems.

• Design and modify motor power control equipment circuits.

• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

• Prepare work schedules and coordinate activities with other teams or divisions.

• Plan and lay out work from instructions, sketches, blueprints, and drawings.

• Ensure accuracy and completion of all preventive maintenance tasks.

Initiative Expectations:

• Improve management of electrical parts to ensure proper balance between cost, availability, and inventory levels.

• Promote a safe, efficient, and professional work environment.

• Identify solutions to unique or complex electrical issues.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift 65 lbs from floor to shoulder height.

• Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.

• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching/handling with arms, hands, and fingers.

• Ability to crawl and work in narrow or confined spaces.

• Frequent repetitive movements such as hammering, wrench turning, and screwdriver use.

• Manual dexterity sufficient for fine electrical work.

• Normal vision (corrective lenses acceptable).

• Exposure to cold, heat, noise, mechanical/electrical fumes, and odors.

• Must be able to work more than 8 hours in a shift on occasion.

Pay Depending on Experience (DOE)
