About the Role
The Company is in need of an Executive Director and Vice President for Clinical Operations to take the helm of its Trial Operations function. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader in clinical operations, with a proven track record in overseeing a diverse portfolio of global clinical studies, including complex Phase III programs in respiratory, immunology, and rare diseases. Key responsibilities for this role include leading 3-5 concurrent studies, ensuring that all timelines, budgets, and compliance standards are met. The successful candidate will also be tasked with driving innovative patient recruitment, vendor and site management, and risk-mitigation strategies, as well as partnering with senior leaders across functions to align operations with corporate objectives. This executive position demands a visionary who can build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team in a fast-paced biotech environment. The role requires a leader who is adept at fostering a culture of excellence and is committed to the mission of advancing healthcare through clinical research. The Executive Director and Vice President will play a pivotal role in the company's success, and as such, a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate and influence in a complex, global clinical landscape are essential. A background in a relevant scientific or medical field, along with a deep understanding of the clinical trial process and regulatory requirements, is also a fundamental aspect of the candidate's profile.
