Job Title: Extrusion Supervisor
Job Description

The Extrusion Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the extrusion process, ensuring safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed, and maintaining accurate production records. The role requires a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality of products, as well as the ability to train and support production personnel.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety regulations and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Maintain accurate and complete production records.
• Ensure the correct use of raw materials by interpreting job orders.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the plant floor.
• Provide direction and support to all production personnel.
• Ensure the quality of manufactured products by taking and documenting measurements.
• Ensure all work areas are clean and organized, with no product or raw materials on the floor.
• Train employees on equipment and processes.
• Support personnel in maintaining all extrusion lines.
• Store unused equipment in the proper location.
• Provide performance metrics data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Act as the point of contact for IT-related issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ink room.

Essential Skills

• Experience in plastic injection molding and extrusion processes.
• Strong leadership and supervision skills.
• Proficiency in machine operation and tooling.
• Ability to interpret and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ISO regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical operations and injection molding.

Work Environment

The work environment is a cleanroom setting, requiring strict adherence to procedures due to the handling of medical components. Employees must avoid wearing jewelry, piercings, perfume, fake nails, and makeup. The role offers a flexible 2-2-3 schedule from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am, depending on preference.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
