Position Summary:

Tasks: Personal Income Tax Preparations and some Corporate Tax Support. Will work with senior tax preparer to complete yearly tax work that is assigned. Will also help with corporate tax clients to become familiar with the process. Present tax documents to clients, once they have been completed. Create invoice and collect from client prior to electronic filing or handing over prepared taxes. Be able to answer questions/communicate with team through the entire process. 

General Duties: 

• Ample Knowledge of tax software, including Pro Series. 

• Minimum 2 yr experience as tax preparer. 

• Be able to organize and archive tax preparation data.

• Be able to professionally communicate with clients in person, telephone and/or video conference for tax matters. 

• Strong writing skills to be able to communicate via e-mail. 

• Be well organized with strong multitask skills. 

• Be able to follow policies and procedures already in place set federal/state government laws and that have been established by ABS. 

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Position Pay 

• Negotiable – Base pay, with credits available for past work experience. 

Physical Requirements. 

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards 

• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
