Key Responsibilities
Listening to clients needs to determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed.
Collaborate with project teams including architects and engineers to develop design concepts, space planning layouts, and detailed drawings.
Assist in preparing presentations, mood boards, and material samples to communicate design ideas to clients.
Select and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), materials, and finishes.
Produce technical drawings and documentation for design development and construction, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and reflected ceiling plans. As well as design graphics, renderings, and videos.
Participating in site visits throughout completion of project
Maintains current design trends, materials, finishes, and sustainable practices.
Manage portions of the design process independently while maintaining communication with the project lead.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in interior design or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
Excellent attention to details and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects.
NCIDQ certification is preferred but not required.
