IT Support Specialist – Hybrid | South Jordan, UT
Banking Firm
Pay: $21/hour (W2)
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to support our banking client in South Jordan, UT . This hybrid role combines on-site and remote support, assisting staff with technical issues, maintaining systems, and ensuring the optimal performance of hardware and software technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks.
Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot technical problems.
Assist with onboarding new employees, including account setup and equipment preparation.
Repair or replace damaged hardware components as needed.
Test and evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations.
Document IT processes, procedures, and technical issues.
Deliver training to end-users on systems and software.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk).
Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Certifications:
CompTIA A+ or Network+
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
