Job Title: Business Litigation Paralegal
Location: Dallas, TX (In-Office)
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Overview:
Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a highly experienced Business Litigation Paralegal to join a corporate law firm in Dallas. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong background in commercial litigation who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You'll play a key role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case intake to trial.

Core Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with case management, discovery, and trial preparation
• Draft and format legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, and discovery materials
• Organize and maintain case files, both electronic and physical
• Manage document production and utilize e-discovery tools
• Conduct legal and factual research under attorney supervision
• Prepare deposition summaries, case chronologies, and trial binders
• File documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing
• Maintain litigation calendars and track critical deadlines
• Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel
• Provide in-person support during hearings, depositions, and trials
• Perform other duties as needed to support the legal team

Qualifications

• 10+ years of paralegal experience in business litigation within a law firm
• One of the following credentials is strongly preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Paralegal certificate or Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies
  • Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) designation
• Experience with complex case management and high-volume document review
• Familiarity with trial preparation and courtroom procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and litigation support software
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures
• Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to work additional hours during critical litigation phases
