* LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE OR LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE *
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking to hire a LVN/LPN (Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our Crisis Stabilization Unit and residential program supporting youth in crisis.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- LVN or LPN license OR Psychiatric Technician certification
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- 2 years of experience in a clinical or behavioral health setting.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with RN Supervisor to deliver high quality care.
- Provide direct support and supervision to youth in crisis stabilization and residential settings.
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
- Address medical, physical and dental needs; complete intake screenings.
- Support behavioral health plans and wellness initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with health and safety standards.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Experience working with pediatric young or teens.
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
