Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing reactionary, preventative, and facility maintenance throughout the plant. Your primary focus will be on supporting Plant 2, which involves injection molding plastic processes. Although prior injection molding experience is not required, you should be comfortable working in such environments. You will be tasked with repairing machinery such as injection mold equipment, Fanuc robots, conveyor systems, and more. This role requires proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints, as well as strong troubleshooting abilities in PLCs, servo drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactionary and preventative maintenance across the plant.
• Support Plant 2 with the injection molding plastic processes.
• Repair machinery including injection mold equipment, Fanuc robots, and conveyor systems.
• Read schematics and blueprints to diagnose issues.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, mechanical, and electrical problems.
• Conduct welding and fabrication as needed.
• Maintain electrical systems, especially three-phase systems.
• Handle hydraulic and pneumatic systems efficiently.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience for Tier 2.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience for Tier 3.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
• PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with voltmeters.
• For Tier 3, experience with Fanuc Robotics and controls, including vision systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Experience with injection molding, plastic, and robotics is highly desirable.

Work Environment

This role offers traditional Monday through Friday shifts from 11 PM to 7 AM, with openings on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will work every other Saturday and can expect an average of 8 hours of overtime per week. Although the facility is climate-controlled, expect higher temperatures when working in maintenance areas.

This is a Permanent position based out of Springfield, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $67600.00/yr.
