Mobile Phlebotomist TridentCare is looking for a full‑time, entry‑level Mobile Phlebotomist to provide lab services at client facilities. The position is located in San Bernardino, CA and offers $21.70–$23.95 per hour. Responsibilities Drive personal vehicle (unless accommodation is made) to client facilities (mostly nursing homes) as directed by the dispatcher or assigned Area Phlebotomy Supervisor/Area Lead. Follow established phlebotomy procedures for obtaining blood samples from patients. Properly and accurately identify patients according to phlebotomy patient identification policy prior to drawing. Ensure specimens are properly labeled, in the correct tube and accompanied by a completed requisition, including patient billing information before transport. Adhere to phlebotomy policy on transporting PHI. Plan and organize draw schedule with attention to patient priority. Complete written logs, time sheets and other required records in a neat and accurate manner. Work cooperatively with dispatch, payroll, laboratory and courier departments. Maintain all equipment in good working order and report problems immediately to the Area Phlebotomy Supervisor. When on duty, answer the company‑issued mobile device promptly and be ready and available to work. Notify dispatch of availability for future assignments. Perform other duties as assigned by the Area Phlebotomy Supervisor. Qualifications Current clinical Licensure required by State (if applicable). Knowledge of medical terminology related to laboratory procedures. Proficient in phlebotomy procedures and techniques, including venipuncture, tourniquet application/removal and site decontamination. Knowledge of specimen preservation, adequate patient preparation and specimen procedures. Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance. Access to a vehicle in good working condition suitable for daily driving requirements. Good driving record. Ability to work under minimal supervision and maintain accurate time sheet records. Understand and be knowledgeable of resident rights, patient care and the patient’s right to refuse. Ability to obtain blood specimens from patients under a variety of conditions. Proficient in written and verbal English. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, patients, the public and all staff members. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Professional conduct and ability to take directions.
