San Francisco Little League (SFLL) is looking to immediately hire part-time administrative support on a contractual basis. Approximately 10-20 hours per week during business hours with occasional weeknight meetings and weekend special events. Most work can be completed remotely.
Daily Responsibilities
- Monitor SFLL general email box and respond to messages within 24 hours Monday-Friday (1-2 hours/day)
- Check PO Box on Taraval, Outer Sunset SF (once per week)
- Deposit checks (1-2 times/month)
- Maintain league calendar (ongoing)
- Send meeting invites; schedule meeting rooms/food/beverage/etc. Set-up and break down in-person meetings. Attend board meetings and take meeting minutes. (Once per month.)
- Other administrative projects and tasks as requested.
Seasonal Work
- Prepare and publish registration forms
- Process registrations/cancelations/division moves/refunds
- Prepare SES materials; attend SES
- Prepare team draft materials; attend drafts
- Distribute rosters
- Support special events like the SFLL Community Conference, Opening Day Parade, Coach & Volunteer - Appreciation Dinner
Key Qualifications
- Self-starting worker who's able to think creatively, respond proactively, work and problem-solve independently.
- Familiar with email, Docs/Word, Sheets/Excel, familiarity with common productivity apps like WhatsApp/Slack/Google/etc.
- Experienced with handling general correspondence, like written email correspondence and phone calls correspondence, in a professional setting/manner.
- Customer service/administrative support experience is a plus.
- Candidate will need to complete all basic volunteer background check requirements per the SFLL child protection program.
- Candidate will also need secure access to a computer and the internet.
