Job Description

Patient Registration Coordinator New Season invites applicants to join our dedicated team in a role that supports the continuum of care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). This position is non‑exempt and reports directly to the Program Director. Job Summary The Patient Registration Coordinator performs clerical and administrative services in greeting, registering, and admitting patients in a healthcare facility. The coordinator identifies the best methods to schedule patient appointments and coordinates with clinical staff to ensure accurate data capture. Essential Functions

  • Complete the pre‑registration process for all new clients, schedule appointments, and orient new patients.
  • Monitor patient activities on center premises and provide customer service as a point of contact for inquiries.
  • Collect co‑payments and patient financial responsibility at the time of service; verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorization as necessary.
  • Enter all necessary demographics, billing, and clinical information into the registration system with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Maintain supply inventory, anticipate supply needs, order supplies, and verify receipt of supplies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard operations; keep lines of communication open with the Clinic Operations Team.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not supervise staff. Education & Credentials High School Diploma or GED required. Required Knowledge Strong customer service background and knowledge of electronic health records systems and medical insurance. Experience Required Minimum of 1‑year of receptionist or cashier experience and 1‑year of healthcare experience. Skill and Ability Read, write legibly and comprehend written and spoken words; basic computer literacy; strong communication skills; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents; effectively present information to management, public groups, and customers. Physical Demands & Work Environment Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Open work area with moderate everyday noise.
