Role Overview What You Will Experience in This Role: CAMP Systems seeks an experienced Product Owner who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. In this role you will be working with one of the teams charged with the goal of evolving and extending our technology to create our next generation platform. Responsibilities Product Backlog Ownership: Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized, transparent, and aligned with business priorities. Define Product Vision: Develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the development team. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with customers, management, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria. Prioritize Needs: Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy. Sprint Planning: Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities. Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with engineering, design, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure the successful implementation of product enhancements. Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Improve Development Processes: Identify and execute initiatives to improve the effectiveness of product development processes. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product owners and team members. Customer Engagement: Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on products and services and to ensure alignment with customer needs. Qualifications You have: Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role. Industry Knowledge: Aviation industry experience is a plus. Technical Background: Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is preferred. Agile Proficiency: Proven experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum processes. Team Collaboration: Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization. Education: BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent preferred. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done. Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements. Preferred Qualifications Agile Methodologies: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum. Product Lifecycle Management: Expertise in managing products through their full lifecycle from inception to retirement. Backlog Management: Proficient in creating, refining, and prioritizing the product backlog. Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to influence and manage stakeholder relationships for mutual benefit. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams. Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas. Knowledge Management: Experience in managing vital knowledge to create value for the organization. Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 DOE (Depending on experience) Why Work at CAMP?
