This is a contract position and we are offering payment options of W2/1099 & C2C per hour.

Job Description:
Role: Product Owner
Duration: Long Term
Location: Memphis, TN - Onsite (No Remote)

Ideal candidate Profile
  1. Ideal candidate has previous PO experience, preferably within infrastructure, and at least some technical knowledge in endpoints, M365, and/or networking
Top 3 technical skills (In order of preference)
  1. Project Management Experience
  2. Agile Experience
  3. Ability to effectively communicate across platforms and functionalities
Examples of daily Job Duties
  1. Backlog Management: Prioritize and refine the backlog by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that the most critical tasks align with business goals. This involves reviewing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring clarity for the teams.
  2. Meeting Ceremonies: Participate in various team ceremonies, including daily stand-up meetings, with the teams to discuss progress, address any blockers, and adjust priorities as needed. This helps maintain momentum and ensures that everyone is aligned on the current objectives.
  3. Stakeholder Communication: Engage with various stakeholder to gather feedback, understand their needs, and communicate updates on project status. This ensures that the infrastructure solutions being developed meet user requirements and expectations.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Analyze system performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement. This may involve coordinating with technical teams to implement enhancements or troubleshoot issues, ensuring that the infrastructure remains robust and efficient.
Leads the team to manage the product platform including but not limited to; working with key stakeholders to define the product vision, product roadmap, release plan and backlog, maintaining product specific project plans, negotiating product feature requirements, ensuring product quality and information security requirements, turning requirements into overall system design, coordinating product software releases, and resolving product defects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Prioritize backlog of custom configuration requests
  • Meet regularly with business partners
  • Communicate business needs to the team
  • Assist Business Analyst with refining stories and updates to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with primary Product Owner on establishing the strategic vision, roadmap and direction of a product team defined as a set of capabilities and associated applications.
  • Must have 2+ years of product ownership experience and 6+ years of experience in information technology, prefer experience developing applications on the Ansible Automation Platform or some other Infrastructure as Code platform.
  • Experience in Windows/Linux/OpenShift Infrastructure administration and management is preferred.
  • Fluency with JIRA is preferred.
  • Agile Product Owner certification or equivalent preferred."
