Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team and help drive exceptional quality, performance, and efficiency. In this role, you’ll oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring we deliver high-quality products on time and in alignment with customer expectations.

You’ll guide and develop production specialists, coordinate daily job assignments, and foster a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. As a key leader on the floor, you’ll ensure compliance with our quality systems and procedures while supporting a smooth, productive, and safe operation.

If you’re an experienced manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing talent while keeping operations running at their best, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

  • Follow all quality system requirements and applicable SOPs outlined in the Training Matrix.
  • Lead and develop your team:
    • Support hiring efforts through interviewing and selection of manufacturing personnel.
    • Oversee onboarding and training using the Training Matrix and new hire checklist.
    • Coach, mentor, and develop production leads and manufacturing staff.
    • Assign team members to jobs and ensure proper training for all production procedures.
    • Conduct performance reviews, manage timecards, and provide corrective action when needed.
  • Manage production lines effectively:
    • Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.
    • Coordinate equipment setups and line start-ups.
    • Remove nonconforming product and escalate to engineering when appropriate.
    • Request engineering support and initiate NCRs when needed.
    • Review and submit Lot History Records for all completed production work.
  • Drive continuous improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and delivery.
    • Prepare and track KPIs for Quality, Safety, Attendance, Productivity, and Scrap.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure adherence to all safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the production team.

What You’ll Bring

  • A proven ability to lead teams and support positive change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing diverse groups and understanding operational workflows and organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong knowledge of production metrics, labor planning, and material management.
  • BS degree—preferably in a technical field—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2–5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with floor layout, tooling, fixturing, and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across teams and drive effective change.
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict constructively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
