Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Description:
Fresh Coat Painters of Muskegon is growing, and we’re looking for dependable, goal-driven individuals who take pride in their work and are eager to learn a skilled trade. Whether you're an experienced painter or someone with a strong work ethic and a hunger to grow, we want to hear from you.

We provide on-the-job training and development for those newer to the painting industry, and we value reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to doing quality work over years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare painting surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and masking as needed
• Application using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow instructions and safety guidelines on every project
• Represent the company professionally on job sites and during final walk-throughs with customers
• Be open to feedback and committed to continuous learning

Requirements:

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliability, punctuality, and a team-first mindset
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to take direction and grow within a structured process
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• (Preferred but not required) Some experience in residential or commercial painting, or general labor/trades

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Nights as needed
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
