Department Overview As a Real Estate Transaction Supervisor, you will contribute to the McDonald’s National Development Plan by assuming primary real estate responsibilities. In this role, you will be a member of the Real Estate COE team and support one or more Field Offices. While this role is considered remote, we are looking for candidates to be based in Central Standard Time to best support their markets across the US. Job Responsibilities Assists the National Real Estate Managers (NREMs) in pre and post contract execution activities. Provides various research that may be required for site approval, including validating growth projections, road expansion projects, competitor activity, and similar information. Reviews/filters site submittals through ORE and other sources. Assumes primary responsibility for real estate transaction post-execution through opening, including negotiating lease amendments, access agreements and easements. Updates various team reports, as needed. Partners with construction managers to ensure flawless transitions into permitting, construction, and turnover/grand opening on individual projects. Prepares franchise orientation packages. Collaborates with Real Estate Coordinators regarding title, survey or other issues that may impact building size, design, restrictions and other similar matters. Assists NREMs in preparing real estate presentations. Following up with Landlord’s/Seller’s on their contract deliverables. Qualifications Previous commercial real estate experience is required; QSR experience is highly preferred. High School Diploma/GED is required; undergraduate degree in a real estate or business field is highly preferred. Comprehensive understanding of real estate legal document administration. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite & SmartSheets is required. Exceptional written and verbal communication.
