Responsibilities
Platform Ownership: Act as the Salesforce subject matter expert and platform owner. Align CRM strategy with business goals and ensure platform health, security, and scalability.
Configuration & Light Development: Manage user setup, roles, profiles, flows, page layouts, dashboards, and reports.Utilize declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules) as the primary automation method, with light Apex scripting for advanced use cases as needed (not core responsibility).
Integrations: Collaborate with IT and external vendors to support integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems. Maintain an understanding of integration flows, including familiarity with tools such as Boomi or similar.
Analytics & Reporting: Build and maintain actionable dashboards and reports within Salesforce and Tableau CRM (Analytics Studio) to provide visibility into pipeline performance, lead conversion, and campaign ROI.
Lead & Marketing Automation: Support and optimize marketing automation initiatives through Account Engagement (Pardot). Maintain lead routing, scoring, and nurturing workflows in alignment with marketing and sales strategies.
Training & User Enablement: Develop and deliver training sessions, documentation, and best practices to improve user adoption and data quality across the organization.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, and CRM best practices. Recommend and implement enhancements to streamline processes and improve productivity.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of Salesforce/CRM experience, including platform administration or ownership.
Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) required.
Working knowledge of Apex for light customization and troubleshooting (extensive coding not required).
Proficiency in Analytics Studio or advanced Salesforce reporting.
Familiarity with Boomi or similar middleware tools preferred.
Experience with Pardot and Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud a plus.
Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder).
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sectors.
Exposure to data governance and sales operations processes.
