As a Steampunk Salesforce Developer , you will collaborate with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into effective Salesforce solutions. Develop, test, document, and maintain solutions, integrations, and data migration components using declarative or programmatic Salesforce development tools such as triggers, workflows, validations, approvals, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components. Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery, adhering to coding standards and participating in code reviews. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the SFDC platform. Manage the implementation of improvements and new functionalities in SFDC. Provide support and solutions for break/fix issues. Communicate with technical resources and stakeholders regarding project status and technical issues. Perform Salesforce administration tasks, including account creation, profile management, field updates, layouts, reports, and dashboards. Support Salesforce configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, and automated approvals. Manage multiple projects using proven project management methodologies. Monitor Salesforce usage for compliance and maintain data security. Collaborate with business analysts and technical staff to deliver complete work products. Implement AppExchange applications. Research integration issues and collaborate with team members. Develop prototypes and stay current with force.com technologies. Perform application maintenance and troubleshooting. Build client trust, establish relationships, and participate in team meetings. Document best practices and operational procedures. Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. At least 2 years of Salesforce development experience. At least 4 years of overall professional experience. Functional knowledge of Salesforce data structures and reporting. Proven expertise in Visualforce, Apex, Force.com APIs, and Web Services. Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Salesforce Developer certification(s). Preferred Skills A combination of business acumen and deep technical Salesforce knowledge. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Independent work capability in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. High-quality technical documentation skills. Proactive in process improvement and creative problem-solving. Quick learner with self-motivation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies. Salesforce Developer certification is preferred.
