Job Description

A school-based Occupational Therapist is needed to provide specialized support to K-12 students across multiple sites in Oceanside, CA. This contract position starts in November and continues through the end of the school year, offering a 7.5-hour workday to deliver tailored therapeutic interventions that enhance students participation and success in their educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs.
• Implement therapeutic activities to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create and support accommodations and modifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines.
• Provide training and resources to staff and families to support students occupational performance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques.
• Ability to work independently and across various school sites.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
